This is about my school trip to my camp (real but feel like posting it lately) created on 9th Auguest (Singapore Birthday) 2007! It's only 2 days 1 night, but quite fun!
Day 1, 2nd Auguest
I woke up 7.50a.m. in the morning.
I wore track pants as the school told me to do so.
I thought I was gonna get scolded by the teachers that day. But did not, I felt relieved as I saw many people wear trackpants (that means some).
We had our first and second activity in the school, but we need to have our trainer first.
First Activity: Focus is Everything
We do this activity in the class, the trainer will show the words on the screen using powerpoint, but it will dissapear very fast. The most difficult topic is the numbers! It has 5 numbers, so hard...
Okay, after the activity is our recess, 9.30a.m.. But it was suppose to be 10.30a.m.. I realised it was because the second activity start from 10a.m..
Second Activity: (I don't know what it is, but it is some kind of Computer Assembly)
Mr. Jason Ng (in charge of camp) told us all about Computer Additions. My class learnt that playing too much on computer will affect our studyings. And told us we could play it, but not so many.
Then we went toilet and leave the school. We sang songs along the way. When we reached there, we went up to the hall for some talks. Mr. John (in charge of the camp too) told us to spray our Mosquito Repelien. And then we went to our dome (our room) to put our things and take out my utensils for lunch! I ate and ate and wash our dishes! We went back to rest awhile. And its time for the acitivites, but different. Class 4A will do activity 3, 4B(my class) will do activity 4, 4C do activity 5 and 4E do activity 6.
Third Activity (Activity 4): Puzzling Puzzles
We did some puzzles, jigsaw ones, group by group,at the hall. And that, we learnt that anything is possible, but it takes time!
Fourth Activity (Activity 5): Overcoming Ostacles
We form into groups of 2. Then we have to cross from one entrance to another, diagonally. One of us have to stay out of maze, the other have to go. And take turn. For this, we learnt to help each other. If the place is too noisy, we use other languge that your partner understands. If not, no use, we would hear other people's directions and lose direction. Oh yes, it's at the training shed.
Fifth Activity (Activity 6): Massive Pile-Up
We went to the girl's toilet. We ahd to use their's because the boy's toilet is only curtains, but for girl's toilet, it is made of wall for each cubical. And we all boys squeezed in one cubical, suffering for one minute! And we finally went out, we learnt that not to do things in the last minute.
Sixth Activity (Activity 7) : (I don't know but it's about memorizing)
At the canteen, we sat down. There will be two people, a lady and my trainer. They will hold a piece of paper, listing all words, for now, I not holding the paper or the answer sheet while posting this. It has 20 words total. Let me try. Eagle, car, dinosaur, bulb, money, fruits, dog, computer, pen, pills, box,sand,star, leather, magnetic, machine, petrol, heat, cabinet,elephant.
I remembered all because I had a method a friend told me. A STORY! Eagle landed on a car being swuash by dinosaur holding a bulb, then money come out and it is used to buy food for the dogs and the dog jump on computer....and so on.
Seventh Activity (Activity 3): First Thing First
We need to stack the deck of PokeCards. Groups of 4. We learnt that we must never give up, we must keep on trying!
After that, we went to our dome, get our utensil, ran out for dinner. We are the first! After dinner, we wash our utensils.Then I went bathing. We could wear home clothes! Get back to the dome and put back the things and come out with our worksheet. And went to the hall to listen to my principal. And we went down to do Activity 8.
Eighth Activity (Activity 8): (Not sure again, but it needs teamwork)
It's fun, every fun. We form into two groups. Group A and Group B. There are four platform and 3 planks. we need to move and move the planks. Once we fall out, we had to restart. And my team won! The trainer said it is because we think we are strong, thats why.
It's time for washup. Means it is time for burshing teeth and change to our pajamas. And we mad enoise. The trainer came in tell us keep quiet. Then we kept quiet. But next door is too noisy. So I midnight then slept.
Day 2, 3rd August
I woke up 6.15a.m. in the morning. We went washing up again. It means we can change to our track pants and PE clothes again. And we do warm up at the hall. Then go downstair eat breakfast. After that, We went to the field to do Activity 9.
Activity 9 : Play to Win
We freely play freezbee meaningless, means theres no rules, we can snatch. But the second time, there is teams. 3 teams. We took turns. If one team lose, they will go out of the game and another team go in. It is quite fun.
After all this, we pack up. AND WE WENT BACK TO SCHOOL! I missed the campsite alot. We went back and do some reflection. And after that, I waited for 5 min for the last bell to ring. When the last bell rang....HOME SWEET HOME!
